Celebrate Your Milestone with the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce!

The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is proud to help local businesses celebrate their Grand Openings, Ribbon Cuttings, and Groundbreaking Ceremonies. These events are a wonderful way to introduce your business to the community, meet local leaders, and share your success story. Below are a few tips and guidelines to help you plan an excellent event — we look forward to celebrating with you!

Event Guidelines

  • To have a Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce representative present, your business must be a current Chamber member. Click Here to Join.
  • Events must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
  • If you are in the process of joining, your event will not be scheduled until membership payment has been received.
  • A Chamber representative will attend one event per day and only during Chamber business hours (Monday–Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). After hours openings can be accommodated with adequate planning.
  • The Chamber observes holiday closures and will not be available for events during those times.
  • In the event of severe weather or local closures, Chamber attendance may be canceled or rescheduled.
  • To confirm your event date, please contact us.

Promoting Your Event

Event Setup
  • The hosting business is responsible for external promotions and invitations.
  • You’re encouraged to post your event on the Chamber’s Events Calendar using your membership login. Need help? Contact us at connect@calcochamber.com
  • We also encourage you to design and share your event invitation! Tools like Canva make it easy to create professional graphics. Please send a .jpg copy of your invitation to connect@calcochamber.com.

Chamber Support Includes

Ribbon Cutting
  • Use of the Chamber’s large ceremonial scissors and choice color ribbon
  • A Chamber staff member (when available) to participate in your celebration
  • A mention in our Chamber newsletter and social media, sharing your event with the community
